Have you received a letter inviting you to take park in the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme? Screening is offered to everyone aged 50-70 years.
Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers, especially for people over 50. It causes 1,600 deaths in Scotland each year.
There is a simple test that can help find early signes of bowel cancer. The chances of beating bowel cancer are very high when it is found early.
The test kit with instructions will be posted to you. We encourage all our patient to do the test.
